WPT Herodotus (Hero) is a muscular, moderately framed two-year-old bull (1540 lbs. in October) with great feet and an exceptional pedigree. His sire, HSC Elijah, was 2013 Reserve Grand Champion Bull in Denver, and his grandsire is the influential Black Watch Emmett. Other significant names in Hero’s sire-side pedigree are Four’s Emma, Summit Ranch Stella, and Landelley’s Cody. Hero is the first calf out of LEA Maggie, a broad maternal cow who was shown both regionally and in Denver as a calf, yearling, and two-year-old and is a fine example of LEA White breeding. Both Maggie’s dam and granddam, LEA Corrie and LEA Kittery, are elite impact dams, and her sire is the exceptional LEA Haaken. Hero was in the pasture breeding cows this summer and has had semen drawn at Hawkeye Breeders.

CSF Cokato is a striking black heifer, the seventh calf in seven years out of CBS Celesta, a daughter of LEA Denovan Adam and Husker Highlands Ranch’s HHR Candy. Cokato had an adjusted weaning weight of 446 lbs. without any creep feeding. She is deep with a level top line, good feet and legs, and the overall correctness and size that make her a good show prospect. Cokato is in the first crop of a promising young sire, CSF Roosevelt, a bull in the GOF Ralph line through CSF Rutherford, a Division winner in Denver. Roosevelt has a good disposition and has stamped his offspring with correctness and good weaning weights.

Muireall’s top side is highlighted by Skye High X-Axis and SPH Superdude, and her bottom side by LEA Gloriosa, an impact dam sired by Sunset Rebel Yell. Muireall is a wide-bodied cow with a quality udder. Frankie was not creep fed, and her adjusted weaning weight was 458 lbs. Frankie, like CSF Cokato, also in the sale, is in the first crop of the three-year-old bull, CSF Roosevelt. Roosevelt is smooth sided with a traditional Scottish air. He weighed in at 1850 lbs. in October after breeding cows and having semen drawn this summer. Frankie has the look of quality and should make a fine show or brood cow.
